What if the gods never left — they just changed clothes?

This conversation with author Christopher Knowles (Our Gods Wear Spandex) traces the hidden thread from ancient myth to the modern superhero: Superman as a solar/Apollo archetype, Wonder Woman's Amazonian roots and psychology, Batman and the Golem, Dr. Strange and Dr. Fate carrying real occult lineage, and the Theosophy and pulp roots underneath it all.

Myth didn't die. It put on a cape. And the same archetypes we study in the temple — the solar hero, the warrior goddess, the wounded guardian, the magician — are still speaking to millions through these stories.
